- CDRViewer 4 is not a free upgrade.
- CDRViewer 3 Pro, Standard and Lite version owners will have discounts if they want to upgrade to CDRViewer 4, or they can use their currents version forever without any payment.
- For pricing information, please check this page later or CDRViewer 4 main page.
- If you are happy with CDRViewer 3, do not upgrade to (free version of) CDRViewer 4.
- If you have upgraded to CDRViewer 4 by mistake or you want to go back to version 3, you can redownload it from this link. After install, your license will come back automatically.
Technical note
- It’s a brand new version and completely rewritten from scratch.
- It will support M1 and M2 chips.
- CDRViewer 4 will run natively on arm64 architecture.
- CDRViewer 3 is running on Rosetta, not compatible with M1 and M2 chips and arm64 architecture.
- CDRViewer 3 will not have big updates and new features, it can have small bug fix or system compatibility updates. We will focus on CDRViewer 4. If you want the latest CDRViewer, version 4 is under active development.
